Origin Story
For most of my life, I have been obese, unhappy, and rudderless. In 2015, that all changed - I suffered a deep vein thrombosis (major blood clot) that spread to my lungs leaving me with multiple pulmonary embolisms. The silver lining to this story is that it finally gave me direction in life. I knew as I stared out of room 911 in St. John's hospital, that I did not want to continue down the path I was on. A nurse came into my room and began discussing with me the benefits of foods high in Vitamin K—they actually play a role in clotting regularity. This sparked a curiosity that grew into a fire to learn as much as I could about food and its benefits, ultimately leading to a passion for passing it along to others. Over the past decade, I have amassed a wealth of knowledge from school, personal research, and experimentation with recipes, workouts, and what makes goals like weight loss and recovery from chronic conditions related to food attainable and sustainable for all. Join me in finding YOUR PATH that will lead to a road of happiness and appreciation for what food can do for YOU!  Let's write your story next...

My wife and I are a couple of DINKs and avid campers! We were married in 2023, and the first purchase we made was a 14-foot teardrop trailer that we pull behind us everywhere we go. Our favorite stop so far has been Olympic National Park in the northwesternmost point of the Northwest. We've also been all over our home states of Oklahoma and Arkansas and have had several excursions in Missouri. We are excited to continue exploring and see every inch of what this beautiful country has to offer.

We also have been craving some international travel and are going to scratch that itch in 2025 and go off to spectacular Costa Rica and hope to check as many boxes off our bucket list of places as possible for the rest of our lives.

We also enjoy cooking, hiking with our dog (Lefty), and eating at restaurants exploring new recipes and meals to us.
